Cli-MATES examines the role of the social environment and its efficacy in climate protection: Can social norms that characterise our friends and family circles dampen or fuel our commitment to the climate? And how to communicate climate change issues to specific social groups?

Together with young people cli-MATES wants to develop and professionally implement new media formats - therefore a climate action retreat took place in April 2018 in St. Gilgen, Austria.
